SCRIP FAQ's

What is SCRIP?
SCRIP is "shopping cart fundraising" for items you purchase everyday! It is simple. You purchase gift cards from the Pike Performing Arts Boosters for local retailers at face value. For example, you buy a $50 Marsh card for $50, and you receive $50 of products at Marsh.

What’s the catch?
No Catch!  The Boosters have purchased the card from Marsh for a discount and that is how we make a profit. Pike Performing Arts students receive 1/2 of the discount percentage in their individual student accounts.  There’s no catch!  You get what you pay for!

What can students purchase with the money in their accounts?
Student accounts can be used to purchase any performing arts related item such as strings, reeds, theatre tickets, sweatshirts to support their group, costumes, and fees related to their performing arts group. The remaining profit goes into the Pike Performing Arts Boosters' general account used to benefit all students.

Can I order SCRIP on line?
SCRIP can now be ordered online and the complete list and percentages are there! Just log on to www.shopwithscrip.com. Pike Performing Arts Boosters’ non-profit's code is: 2B99L9F412L65. The code is case sensitive and only has to be entered one time.

Whose name should I register under?
We do want people to register under their student's name for student account purposes.

How can I help make SCRIP successful?
Volunteer on the night of your student's concerts - especially if it is not on a Wednesday night. This involves working at a table with other volunteers for about one hour prior to the concert and about 30-45 minutes after the concert.
